I’m finally learning how to express myself. I always bottled things up because I never thought that anyone I cared about actually cared about my problems.
I mean, who would care about my thoughts?
I learned to put more value into myself. It’s not mentally healthy to hold your tongue too much. Certain things should go unsaid, but you should never feel as though you don’t matter.
I’ve learned that I have a lot of people around me who care about me. It’s easy to get down and feel like no one around you cares.
When I’d get down I always used to distance myself from everyone.
Now I know who I can reach out to.
It’s important to have people around you who care. And to value yourself enough to say your piece.
Thanks to those around me who have helped me through so much. You know who you are.
I just wanted to say I appreciate you and I love you.
